By the way, I still think it is the best computer type product ever made and far superior to any computer I have ever had. Joel Watson

I have a Canon Cat with all the trimmings as well as the disks that Canon provided the dealer and several PPrograms" for it along with some I "wrote." I also have the printer and the paper feeder for bulk paper, all the manuals etc.

How much do you think it is all worth today, that is in 2008? Thanks. Joel Watson

Nowadays it's easier to use OpenEmbedded and configure it for the task at hand. To save even more time, target QEMU and try getting it to work in there before you have an actual prototype to work with.

Nice article, a pleasure to read. It would be really neat to play with a Cat; Makes me wish I'd known of the vintage computer festival in time to attend. Btw, it's "Jef", not "Jeff".

Cheers,
Greg

I highly recommend Jef Raskin's book "The Humane Interface", you'll find more about Jef idea's about Interface, why he don't like files or directories, why the user should not think about file names, or even saving files, you'll read about ZUI, why oh why we still use WIMP gui?
