giao mentioned last January that IE7 was a forced auto-update on February 12, 2008. I found this microsoft support article describing the effect it would have on IT admins. I cannot get a sense of how this is going so far. However, if this happens, it would be a big step up for anybody that has to develop for the web. I mean, they finally got PNG support in IE7
